Marine Communication

Marine VHF and MF/HF radios are crucial communication devices for marine vessels. VHF radios are primarily used for short-range ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore communication, while MF/HF radios are used for long-range communication, often in areas with poor VHF coverage. Both types of radios operate on specific frequency bands allocated by international regulations for maritime communication.
Two-way Marine Radio
Marine handheld VHF radios are portable radios used for communication on boats and ships. They are designed to be waterproof and buoyant, making them ideal for use in marine environments. In the event of an emergency or if a crew member falls overboard, the radio can float and continue to transmit and receive distress calls.
Single Side Band (SSB) Radio
SSB Radio refers to Single Side Band radio communication, which is a form of high-frequency radio transmission widely used in maritime and aviation industries. SSB radio is known for its long-range capabilities and reliability even in remote areas where other forms of communication might be unavailable. SSB radio can transmit both voice and data, making it an essential tool for communication between ships, airplanes, and other remote locations.

VHF Base Station
Marine VHF Base Station is a communication system used for maritime communication. It is designed to operate on the Very High Frequency (VHF) band, which is the standard for marine communication. The base station is typically located onshore or on a large vessel and is used to communicate with other vessels or coast stations within its range.

Marine Loading Arm

The loading and unloading arms we provide are specifically designed to facilitate the transfer of liquids and gases between the pipe systems of a jetty and a tanker or barge. These arms are designed to move freely during the transfer, accommodating the normal movements of moored vessels. Our units are suitable for a diverse range of applications, from pyrogenic to high-temperature products, and they can handle even the most hazardous and corrosive fluids with ease.

Polyethylene Buoy Malaysia

Marine Navigation System

Aids to navigation buoys are used as artificial signs to guide navigation and mark obstructions and warnings in waterways.

Marine Polyethylene Buoy
Polyethylene buoys are a popular choice for offshore oil and gas operations and ports due to their durability, low maintenance requirements, and resistance to harsh marine environments. These buoys can be used for a variety of purposes, such as marking channels, indicating obstructions, and providing anchorage for ships. They can also be customized with various accessories such as solar-powered navigation lights, radar reflectors, and mooring systems to suit specific requirements.

Marine Navigation Light
Marine navigation lights are required to meet the standards set by the International Association of Marine Aids to Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALA). These standards define the characteristics, color, and positioning of navigation lights to ensure safety and prevent collisions at sea.
Led range lantern with masterrange (Up to 24NM)
A LED range marine lantern with masterrange is a type of navigational aid that uses LED technology to emit a bright light visible from a distance. The masterrange feature refers to the ability of the lantern to adjust the intensity and range of the light based on environmental conditions, such as fog or heavy rain. This allows for optimal visibility and safety for ships and boats navigating through waterways. The LED technology used in these lanterns is highly efficient and long-lasting, making them a cost-effective and reliable option for marine navigation.

Mooring Hardware & Fitting

12-48mm Chain
The mooring chain is attached to the buoy by means of a shackle, and to an anchor or weight on the seabed or riverbed by means of a swivel. The swivel allows the buoy to move with the tide and wave action without twisting or damaging the mooring chain.

Navigation Light for Marine & River Channel
Navigation lights for marine and river channels are critical safety devices that provide visual guidance to vessels, indicating the edges of navigable channels and other obstructions. These lights are designed to be visible from a distance, even in poor visibility conditions.

Navigation lights for marine and river channels can be fixed or flashing, and their colors indicate the direction of the channel. For example, red lights indicate the port (left) side of the channel, while green lights indicate the starboard (right) side. White lights are also used to indicate the center of the channel or to mark obstructions.

Quick Release Mooring Hooks Malaysia

TST System is an authorized and trusted distributor of Trelleborg and Mampaey Marine & Infrastructure, providing advanced, high-performance solutions for marine and port infrastructure. Our solutions are engineered to enhance operational safety, improve durability, and maximize efficiency across port, terminal, and maritime applications.

Remote Release Hook

Quick Release Hook (QRH) units are available with double or triple hooks in capacities from 60Ton to 150Ton. The option with capstan provides an integral electric capstan motor housed within a protective structure (typically the QRH base). The capstan motor is factory run-in and mated with a gearbox, which is oil-filled for life. A Direct on Line (DOL) motor starter allows control of operation through a footswitch, Emergency Stop Switch (E-Stop) and direction selector switch.
We can supply various types of QRH (single, double, triple or quadrople hooks) required by the layout of terminal depending on the specification needs of the Port.

Mooring Load Monitoring System will give any terminal – existing or new – optimum safety when ships are moored. The system ensures homogeneous tension on mooring lines and alerts the operator if tension on one or more lines moves towards the critical limit.

Remote Release System

Remote Quick Release remote control system for QRH is primarily designed to operate the hooks in case of an evacuation of the terminal. As the hook release function also can be made individually it can also be used each time a ship has to depart the jetty thus saving mooring personnel. The system is also monitoring the hook station status and sends alarms in case of a hook station failure.
Remote function of releasing the hook with one simple Push Button or automatically via its Operating System installed in the Port Control Room.
